Enla Arboleda

Born in Colombia and based in England, Enla Arboleda creates music that emerges as a contemplative dialogue between memory, nature, and identity. A singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, he has spent more than a decade weaving soundscapes that resonate with the essence of his surroundings and his inner explorations. 

THE BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY

At the age of seven, Enla’s musical journey began to take shape among the syncopated rhythms of traditional Colombian music. His early years at the conservatory introduced him to the textures of his homeland, where guitar strings conversed with Andean winds and the pulse of drums. Over time, his sound evolved alongside the landscapes that surrounded him: expansive, bold, and authentic, as he explored new sonic territories such as rock and alternative music.

During his youth, he took part in various musical projects and recorded three albums that crossed borders, connecting with listeners in both Colombia and Norway. Later, his time with the iconic Colombian rock band Ekhymosis took him to festival stages such as Altavoz Internacional, Cálido Rock, and Car Audio Fest—experiences that strengthened his connection to the roots and evolution of his country’s music scene.

TRAYECTOS INVISIBLES

His first solo EP, Paths Invisible, released in 2020, is a tapestry of stories recorded in the moist air of the tropics. Each of the six songs unfolds as a journey through the jungle—full of contrasts, colour and introspection. These songs are the sound of life in motion, poems about love, memory and the search for one's self. Through music and visual art, each piece transports the listener to a world where time stops and the soul to reconnect with the rhythms of nature.

A NEW DAWN

In 2021, Enla embarked on his journey to London, drawn by the city’s magnetism and vibrant sonic tapestry. Amid the vastness of the urban landscape, he discovered a new musical language, shaped by synthesizers and electronic textures, an expansion of his sonic identity that reflected the complexity of his own journey. His music became a dialogue between the natural and the artificial, the past and the future, the familiar and the unknown.

The Road ahead: Other Ways to Find Yourself

Enla’s upcoming full-length album and forthcoming EP “Other Ways to Find Yourself” are reflections of his journey as a migrant in the UK—a meditation on displacement, nostalgia, and the delicate dance between pain and hope. Across this collection of 12 songs, listeners will encounter a melancholic reflection interwoven with moments of quiet revelation, like steps through an unfamiliar forest, cautious yet curious at the same time. 

The album, infused with the warmth of analog synthesizers and the sharp edges of sound design, marks a new chapter in Enla’s evolution. Eleven of the songs are written in English, building bridges between cultures while preserving the poetic weight of his Colombian roots.

Glenn Charles
(Battery)

A drummer and composer versatile with a strong background in jazz, musical, West End, and contemporary music. The extensive experience of Glenn covers touring the world, working in the studio and the direction of their own innovative projects of jazz.

Sakakosmos
(Keyboards)

Pianist, singer-songwriter and producer of audio based in London, passionate by a mix of classic influences with R&B and modern. Sakakosmos provides a creative energy that only the group with its approach without any limits towards the music.

Michael Anderson
(Low)

An experienced multi-instrumentalist, Mikey brings a dynamic mix of acoustic ballads, lines of funk bass and rich melodies of the flute. Your overall experience, from New Zealand to California, it adds depth and rhythm to our presentations.

Together, they elevate the live experience of In the Grove of trees, creating a powerful sound and unforgettable.

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • In 2026, Enla Arboleda will take part in the SXSW London music festival.
  • In 2025, Enla was selected to participate in the Chris Difford Songwriting Retreat, an event supported by Help Musicians UK.
  • In March of the same year, he was invited to take part in the LatinoLife Incubators programme in London.
  • In 2024, Enla was selected for the Co-Pilot mentoring programme offered by Help Musicians in the UK.
  • In 2021, the EP Trayectos Invisibles was awarded funding to support its distribution and the promotion of artistic experiences.
  • In 2021, Enla released an illustrated book inspired by one of his songs, Simultáneo. The animated music video tells a parallel story to the book.
  • In 2020, Enla took part in the Bogotá Music Market, the online festival “Viva la Merch,” Tres Cordilleras Live Sessions, and the Cedar en Vivo concert.
  • In 2020, the music video “Flight” was selected for the exhibition of video art: any intermediation.
