The Journey Begins
At the age of seven, Enla's musical journey began among the syncopated rhythms of Colombian traditional music. His early years at the conservatoire were an initiation into the textures of his homeland, where the strings of the guitar conversed with the Andean winds and the pulse of the drums. Over time, his sound evolved in step with the landscapes that surrounded him, expansive, bold and authentic, as he explored new sonic territories, from rock to alternative music.
In his youth, he became involved in a range of musical projects, recording three albums that travelled beyond borders and found audiences in both Colombia and Norway. Later, his time with the iconic Colombian rock band Ekhymosis took him to the stages of festivals including Altavoz Internacional, Cálido Rock and Car Audio Fest—experiences that strengthened his connection to both the roots and the ongoing evolution of his country's music scene.
